Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Minimum of five years underwriting experience with authority.
• IIA and CPCU designations strongly preferred.
• Ability to analyze information to underwrite profitably.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze new business and renewal submissions for our assigned area.
• Ensure marketing initiatives are achieved and communicate products to brokers.
• Develop and maintain broker relations and establish new relationships in targeted territories.
• Participate in client and broker meetings.
• Develop and maintain a submission pipeline to meet production objectives.
• Leverage market contacts to bring in business and share market intelligence.
