Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 2 to plan, manage and execute complex projects. You will lead safety programs, coordinate subcontractors and self-performing work, and ensure timely, profitable project completion in line with JE Dunn’s strategy.

The role requires 5+ years in construction with 3+ years in field supervision; High School Diploma or GED is required, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Travel and non-traditional hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Lean principles experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC.
• Develop work plans and schedules with Project Manager.
• Monitor project budget and costs via cost reports.
• Communicate with owners, design team and authorities.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports and logs.
• Assist in project closeouts and risk management.
