Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 2 to manage multi-faceted projects with a strong focus on safety, planning, and coordination across subcontractors, staff, and suppliers. This role requires full-time travel across project locations to ensure timely and profitable completion aligned with JE Dunn’s standards and policies.

The position emphasizes leadership in safety culture, execution of work plans, and collaboration with owners, architects, and authorities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years construction experience with field supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project safety culture and ensure injury-free environment.
• Coordinate and manage field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Manage project schedule, budget tracking, and cost reports.
• Attend progress and OAC meetings and report updates to owners and design team.
• Prepare and present project reviews and change negotiations.
