Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Houston seeks a Senior Superintendent to plan, manage and execute highly complex projects. You will lead teams, coordinate sequencing, and ensure timely, profitable completion while upholding JE Dunn’s safety culture and project standards.

You will oversee subcontractors, materials, and equipment, manage cost reporting and scheduling, and collaborate with owners, designers, and authorities to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
• Communication skills, verbal and written (Advanced).
• Ability to conduct effective presentations (Advanced).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Intermediate).
• Thorough knowledge of project processes and how each supports the successful completion of a project.
• Knowledge of self‑perform and labor productivity (Advanced).
• Ability to manage budgets, maximize profitability and generate future work through building relationships (Advanced).
• Knowledge of organizational structure and available resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff to ensure an injury‑free environment.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee project teams, budgets and cost reporting.
• Develop work plans for subs and self‑performed work.
• Coordinate site access, materials, and equipment.
• Lead meetings and manage project documentation.
• Support procurement and approval processes for costs.
• Assist in formwork and tool selection for self‑perform work.
