Job summary

The role requires strong communication, hands-on field leadership, and proficiency in project management practices, with the ability to partner with owners, design teams and vendors. Travel and varied hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• May require periods of travel and/or relocation.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors others to ensure an injury‑free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and organizes overall job and workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs such as Safety, Quality and EEO.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self‑performed work.
• Coordinates and manages project site care and control.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Manages project schedules with the Project Manager.
• Tracks and reports hours and costs with cost codes.
• Ensures quality through specifications, QA/QC, and external resources.
• Supports project closeouts and pre‑punch activities.
• Leads project pursuit activities and pre‑plans with field leadership.
• Identifies schedule and cost changes with owner/architect.
