Job summary

ARCO Murray Construction Company is seeking a Lead Superintendent to manage field operations on warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, and cold storage projects. You will lead site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Must have 5–25 years in construction with the last 5 years in a lead supervisory role; willing to travel in the Southeast region; proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, and scheduling software; valid driver's license; capable of

Qualifications

• 5-25 years' construction experience with the last 5 years as lead superintendent on warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, and/or cold storage projects.
• Can live anywhere, but must be willing to travel as projects require.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs.
• Experience with an iPad or similar tablet highly preferred.
• Willing to travel minimally within the Southeast Region.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing/walking long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Attend the post-award review meeting to receive project information and preplanning details.
• Assist with scheduling activities, staffing, and equipment needs.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specifications and schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors and align with project schedules.
• Prepare and review cost reports, requisitions, and invoices.
• Maintain communication with owner representatives, architects, and the project manager.
• Lead site meetings and report progress, plans, and issues regularly.
• Uphold the company safety program and immediate decision-making under deadlines.
