Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction seeks an experienced Superintendent with 5-15+ years of leadership in ground-up light and mid-industrial projects. You will manage field operations, ensure on-time, within-budget delivery, and uphold project specs from day one.

Travel across the United States is required as needed. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, guiding subcontractors, and maintaining rigorous safety standards while reporting progress to the project manager.

Qualifications

• 5-25+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on industrial, warehouse or tilt wall projects.
• Willing to travel when needed.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Attend the post-award review meeting to receive project information and details for preplanning before construction.
• Coordinate schedule, staff, and equipment requirements for the project.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specs and schedule while maximizing profit.
• Coordinate subcontractors to integrate with project schedules and progress.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors of schedule changes promptly.
• Assist in preparing job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review and approve requisitions, field PO's, invoices, and significant reports.
