Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies seeks a traveling Senior Superintendent to lead ground-up, commercial, and light industrial projects. You will oversee field operations, ensure safety, manage schedules, and coordinate subcontractors to deliver on time and within budget.

This role requires strong leadership, travel readiness, and a proven track record in warehouse, distribution, or cold storage builds.

Qualifications

• 5–25 years of construction experience, with the last 5 years as lead superintendent on warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, and/or cold storage projects
• Willing to travel as projects require ( Southeast Region )
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs
• Experience with an iPad or tablet highly preferred
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Attend post‑award review meetings to receive project information and preplanning details
• Prepare schedules of construction activities, staff, and equipment requirements
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specs and schedule within budget
• Coordinate subcontractors to align with project schedules and progress
• Report progress, costs, and approvals to project manager and owner representatives
• Maintain daily diary of significant project facts and approvals
• Ensure adherence to the company’s safety program across all phases
