Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies is seeking a Lead Superintendent to manage ground-up, cold storage and light industrial projects from the field. You will oversee construction and administrative activities, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with project specs.

The ideal candidate has 5–25 years of construction leadership, with at least 5 years on large warehouse/distribution projects and a willingness to travel nationally across the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction experience with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on warehouse or distribution center projects of 100k sq ft or more.
• At least five years of recent experience in the Southeast.
• Willing to travel nationally.
• Computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings to receive project information and preplanning details.
• Prepare schedules of construction activities, organization structure, staffing, manpower and equipment requirements.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specs and schedule while ensuring profitability.
• Coordinate subcontractors to align with project schedules and progress.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors of schedule changes promptly.
• Prepare job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review requisitions, field POs, invoices, and significant reports.
