Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Superintendent 1 for our Advanced Facilities Group (AFG). The role will plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects across multiple locations, focusing on safety, schedule, quality and cost control.

The successful candidate will lead subcontractor coordination, manage on-site teams, and drive project milestones from pre-planning through closeout, ensuring alignment with JE Dunn’s values and site-specific goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, QA/QC, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Manages project site care, custody and control.
