Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent to lead all aspects of complex projects within the Advanced Facilities Group (AFG). You will manage materials, equipment, staffing, and documentation to ensure on-time, profitable project completion in alignment with JE Dunn’s vision and values.

You will oversee safety, quality and cost control, coordinate with owners, design teams, and subcontractors, and drive continuous improvement on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Lean principles preferred.
• Experience managing safety, quality and EEO programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC programs.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate site logistics and maintain project records.
• Lead daily standups and weekly trade meetings.
• Participate in progress and OAC meetings.
• Maintain and adjust project schedules with the PM.
• Monitor budget and cost reports.
• Communicate key information to owners, design teams and vendors.
• Support project closeouts and hand off with owners and authorities.
