Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Superintendent to plan, manage, and execute assigned projects across a range of sites. You will coordinate material, equipment, and personnel, drive safety initiatives, and ensure timely, profitable project delivery.

The role requires 3+ years of construction experience and at least 1 year in field supervision, with strong knowledge of construction processes and quality control. Expect travel and non-traditional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; related technical degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years construction experience and 1+ years field supervision.

Responsibilities

• Leads all safety culture activities and promotes injury-free work environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates site care, custody and control; leads daily standups and trade meetings.
• Manages project schedule with Project Manager; tracks progress and costs.
