Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Scheduling Leader to oversee the scheduling team on complex construction projects. You will develop and maintain CPM baselines, monitor progress, and coordinate with Preconstruction, Procurement, and Construction to ensure schedule adherence.

The role requires advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, Last Planner System, and BIM/4D integration, with a track record of managing large projects (> $100M).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program with at least 8 years of related experience.
• Experience on large construction projects (> $100M) and scheduling certification desired.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and scheduling tools for health and risk analysis.
• Knowledge of Last Planner System, BIM/4D, and lean construction methods.
• Ability to interpret contracts and develop CPM-based baselines with resource loading.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling activities for the Scheduling group on one or more projects.
• Develop and maintain CPM logic-based baseline schedules and progress updates.
• Coordinate with Preconstruction, Procurement, and Construction on detailed schedules.
• Integrate BIM/4D models and logistics planning into project schedules.
• Conduct schedule reviews and provide dashboard metrics at ORM or similar sessions.
• Educate and mentor scheduling staff on playbook policies and best practices.
• Engage with clients as Scheduling SME to align owner expectations.
