Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Indianapolis seeks an experienced Scheduler to develop and maintain complex project schedules using CPM, ROJ dates, and Last Planner. This role requires collaboration with engineers, superintendents, and the VDC team to align schedules with project goals.

You will monitor progress, generate reports, support procurement, and assist BD with scheduling activities. A Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in large construction, with Primavera P6 proficiency, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction or related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Experience on large construction projects (>$50M).
• Experience in roles like Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Proficient with scheduling software such as Oracle Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of scheduling tools Acumen Fuse and Change Inspector.
• Understanding of building construction, materials, systems, and trade practices.
• Ability to read contract documents, drawings, and scopes for schedule development.
• Knowledge of estimating to support schedule development.
• Familiar with earned value concepts and using resources to validate productivity.
• Ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules for large or multiple projects with complex scheduling activities.
• Collaborate with engineers and superintendents to define ROJ dates and track procurement schedules.
• Create CPM baseline schedules and align with VDC team to coordinate models.
• Review performance, delivery, logistics, and staffing impacts on schedule.
• Produce schedule deliverables, recovery strategies, and look-ahead analyses.
• Generate monthly scheduling reports for ORM meetings and client requests.
• Provide guidance to end-users to improve proficiency in scheduling software.
• Support BD and Marketing with proposal scheduling activities.
