Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced Scheduling Lead to oversee CPM scheduling for multiple projects. You will develop baselines, monitor progress, and forecast outcomes, ensuring schedule integrity across the BU. Collaborative work with Preconstruction, Procurement, Construction, and BIM/4D teams is essential.

You will drive Last Planner System integration, manage risk, and mentor staff in scheduling techniques, supporting BD activities as needed. Strong Primavera P6 skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field; minimum 8 years related experience or equivalent
• Large construction project experience (>$100m) is required
• Scheduling Certification desired (AACE/PSP/PMI-SP)
• Experience in construction project engineering and supervisory positions
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to build schedules
• Proficient use of scheduling software (Oracle Primavera P6)
• Proficient use of scheduling diagnostic tools (Acumen Fuse, Change Inspector)
• Advanced experience in gap analysis and managing scheduling risks
• Advanced knowledge of estimates for project schedule development
• Familiar with earned value concepts and resource validation
• Ability to develop metrics and track results
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving
• Experience with continuous improvement methods (lean construction, Takt)

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduling activities for Scheduling group across multiple projects
• Develop and maintain CPM baseline schedules and resource loading
• Monitor progress, update schedules, and forecast to ensure schedule integrity
• Communicate execution plan and risks; support mitigations
• Collaborate with Preconstruction, Procurement, Construction, and BIM/4D for detailed schedules
• Integrate Last Planner System into project schedules
• Provide monthly progress updates and ORM-friendly dashboards
• Train staff on scheduling software and techniques
• Assist BD/BU in scheduling aspects for proposals and documentation
• Defend against claims with historical schedule data if needed
