Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Senior Safety Coordinator to actively support project teams in implementing environmental, safety, and health standards at the site level. The role requires a strong foundation in construction safety and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred with minimum 3 years in construction or industrial health and safety.
• Demonstrated knowledge and continuing education in construction safety.

Responsibilities

• Support the ESH Manager in accident investigations and data collection.
• Monitor safety conditions and enforce OSHA and Layton Construction standards.
• Provide site-specific safety orientations for project teams.
• Lead safety training for employees and subcontractors on site.
• Assist in pre-construction meetings to identify safety needs and issues.
• Support injury management with case managers to ensure appropriate care.
