Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program. You will own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the development of every QC person on the program.

You will lead audits with owner representation, manage corrective actions, and report metrics monthly. This senior role involves coordinating with Quality Managers and inspectors across projects and shaping the program’s future.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• Senior certifications as listed: USACE CQM-C and/or ICC/NICET/ASQ credentials.
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and maintain the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; oversee staffing and performance.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own corrective-action program.
• Approve QC plans, ITPs, and lab/inspection subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics—test pass rates, NCR aging, audits—to program leadership monthly.
