Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, overseeing QC staff and audits. You own the site quality management system and the audit program, and you collaborate with the owner's quality organization throughout the project.

This is a senior role on a multi-year program with travel to project sites; you will manage corrective actions, approve QC plans, and report metrics to program leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and review performance
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own corrective-action program
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory/subcontractor qualifications
• Report quality metrics—test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings—to program leadership monthly
