Job summary

Construction Material Testing in Texas seeks a senior Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program. You own the site quality management system, the audit program, the owner’s quality relationship, and the development of every QC person on the program.

When an agency or owner audits the project, you are the person in the room. You lead audits, approve QC plans and qualifications, report metrics monthly, and coach staff.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality management.
• 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus senior certification (ICC special inspector, NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE).
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics — test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings — to program leadership monthly.
• Improve and maintain the overall QC program across the program.
