Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, overseeing the site quality management system, audits, and the owner’s quality interface. You will own the corrective-action program and lead QC staff across projects.

This senior role requires building a QC organization for new programs, directing audits, and reporting metrics monthly. Travel to project sites is expected and essential to success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years managing programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification (ICC special inspector, NICET IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE).
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Ability to build a QC organization on a new program and keep it aligned with the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the site quality management system, audit program, and forms.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; lead audits and host owner/agency/third‑party audits.
• Own corrective-action program and approve QC plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics (test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings) to program leadership monthly.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate with owners on compliance and quality improvement.
• Make stop-work decisions for serious nonconformances and document rationale.
