Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, with Quality Managers and inspectors reporting to you. You own the site quality management system, audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization.

In this senior role you coach QC staff, approve quality plans, and report metrics monthly. Travel to project sites as needed, and drive the program to meet ISO and owner requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics — test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings — to program leadership monthly.
