Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to oversee quality across a major program or multiple projects. You own the site quality management system, audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization, directing Quality Managers and inspectors.

In this senior role you lead audits, approve QC plans, report metrics monthly, mentor staff, and ensure conformance with ISO/DOT and USACE frameworks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish and own the quality management system, audit program, and relationships with the owner's quality organization.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects and set coverage and staff development.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; manage corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications; report metrics monthly.
