Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Construction Quality Manager III to lead quality across a major program, owning the site quality management system, audit program, and the interface with the owner's quality organization. You will direct Quality Managers and inspectors, develop staff, and ensure compliance across multiple projects.

You will report metrics to program leadership, approve QC plans and lab/inspection qualifications, and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
Senior certifications: ICC Special Inspector (any category), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
Own the corrective-action program; Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications.
Report quality metrics — test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings — to program leadership monthly.
