Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager III to oversee quality across a major program, directing Quality Managers and inspectors. You own the site quality management system and audit program, and you’ll work with the owner's quality organization to ensure compliance.

You will guide audits, manage corrective actions, approve QC plans and ITPs, and report metrics to program leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification (ICC special inspector, NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE).
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Ability to build and sustain a QC organization on a new program.

Responsibilities

• Establish and own the program quality management system, audit schedule, and staff development.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; oversee audits and corrective actions.
• Own the corrective-action program; approve quality control plans and laboratory qualifications.
• Report quality metrics (test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings) to program leadership monthly.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
