Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, with Quality Managers and inspectors reporting through you. You own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the development of every QC person on the program.

In this senior role you will lead internal audits, coordinate with owner's quality organization, and drive the corrective-action program, reporting quality metrics and ensuring compliance across ISO 9001,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• Senior certifications: USACE CQM-C plus ICC Special Inspector, NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications; report quality metrics monthly.
• Report NCR aging and audit findings; be the program's memory and ensure consistency amid staff rotations.
