Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program with Quality Managers and inspectors reporting to you. You will own the site quality management system, audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization, developing every QC person on the program.

You participate in audits and drive corrective actions to keep the project in compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• Certifications include ICC special inspector, NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program; Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics — test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings — to program leadership monthly.
