Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, overseeing Quality Managers and inspectors. You own the site quality management system, audit program, and the development of every QC person on the program.

You will chair audits with owners and agencies, manage corrective actions, and approve QC plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality
• 5+ years managing quality programs and staff
• USACE CQM-C plus senior certification
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1 or DOT QA frameworks
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and audit schedule
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and develop staff
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits
• Own the corrective-action program; approve QC plans, ITPs and subcontractor qualifications
• Report quality metrics (test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings) to program leadership monthly
