Job summary

Construction Material Testing in the United States seeks a seasoned Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program. You own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization.

You will develop QC staff, coordinate internal and external audits, approve QC plans, and report metrics to program leadership, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and audits.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program and approve QC plans and subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics to program leadership monthly.
• Make stop-work decisions for serious nonconformances and document rationale.
