Job summary

Construction Material Testing in the United States seeks a Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program and own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization.

You will lead Quality Managers and inspectors, own the corrective-action program, and report quality metrics monthly while coordinating audits with owners, agencies, and third parties. Travel and per diem are part of the role as assigned.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years managing quality programs.
• USACE CQM-C plus senior certification: ICC special inspector (multi categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks; build QC org on new program.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics — test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings — to program leadership monthly.
• When nonconformances stop work, you decide and document why; you are the program's memory.
