Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, with Quality Managers and inspectors reporting through you. You own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the development of every QC person on the program.

Your role includes coordinating with the owner's quality organization, hosting audits, approving QC plans and laboratory qualifications, and reporting metrics to program leadership monthly.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus senior certification: ICC special inspector, NICET IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and uphold the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects and lead audits with owner/agency/third parties.
• Own corrective-action program and approve QC plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics monthly to program leadership and maintain records.
