Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. in Hendersonville, TN seeks a Sr. Construction Representative to provide construction quality assurance, inspection, and contract compliance on a federally funded project.

Role involves on-site inspections, documentation, and coordination with the contractor and USACE personnel. The position requires fifteen years of QC/QA experience on construction projects, USACE or federal project exposure preferred, and willingness to travel for site visits.

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrated quality control/QA on construction projects.
• Experience performing field inspections of complex civil construction.
• Ability to review and interpret contract plans, specs, and QC documentation.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ongoing construction on-site and review contractor reports and test results.
• Ensure work aligns with approved plans, schedule, and contract documents.
• Review daily QC reports and assist in identifying corrective actions for deficiencies.
• Attend QA preparatory and initial inspections and document findings in RMS.
• Maintain logs for deficiencies, RFIs, and field problems and support risk management.
• Occasionally travel for offsite shop inspections and multi-day site visits.
