Job summary
Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Sr. Construction Representative to lead quality assurance and on-site inspections for a federally funded rehabilitation project in Hendersonville, TN.
The role ensures contract compliance with EM 385‑1‑1 and OSHA requirements, reviews QC documentation, and supports safety reviews and meetings. The ideal candidate has extensive field inspection experience in heavy civil construction or similar federal programs, is a US citizen, and can pass
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of quality control or quality assurance experience on construction projects.
- USACE or other federal project experience preferred.
- Experience in welding, machining, and/or industrial construction.
- Interpreting construction plans and reviewing as-built drawings.
- Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA Construction Industry Regulations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect ongoing construction through on-site visits and review of reports.
- Independently inspect complex civil construction activities.
- Ensure work complies with contract plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Review daily QC reports and ensure proper documentation of inspections.
- Attend quality assurance meetings and prepare RMS inputs within 24 hours of inspections.
- Maintain tracking systems for deficiencies and RFIs.
- Assist in coordinating technical reviews and progress payments.
- Prepare and sign daily site reports.
