Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Sr. Construction Representative to lead quality assurance inspections and contract compliance on a federally funded rehabilitation project in Tennessee.

You will review complex civil work, ensure adherence to EM 385-1-1 and OSHA, and coordinate with constructors and USACE personnel. The role requires extensive field inspections, documentation of daily activities, and participation in safety reviews, QA reports, and progress meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 15 years QC/QA experience on construction projects.
• USACE or federal project experience preferred.
• Experience in welding, machining, and/or industrial construction.
• Interpreting construction plans and reviewing as-built drawings.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 29 CFR 1926.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ongoing construction through on-site visits and review of contractor reports.
• Independently inspect complex civil construction activities.
• Ensure work complies with schedule, plans, specs, and safety regs.
• Review QA reports and ensure proper documentation and deficiencies correction.
• Perform daily QA surveillance and track RFIs and field problems.
• Attend technical reviews, meetings, and risk management discussions.
• Prepare daily progress reports and sign off on contractor progress.
