Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Sr. Construction Representative to lead quality assurance on the Old Hickory Turbine Generator Rehabilitation Project in Hendersonville, TN.

The role involves inspecting complex civil construction, reviewing QC documentation, and ensuring contractor compliance with EM 385‑1‑1, OSHA regulations, and contract specs. Ideal candidates have 15+ years of QA/QC experience on federal projects, with USACE familiarity, wiring/machining/industrial construction knowledge, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of quality control or quality assurance experience on construction projects.
• US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or other federal project experience preferred.
• Experience in welding, machining or industrial construction; field inspections for workmanship and conformance.
• Ability to interpret construction plans and as-built drawings; review daily QC reports.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ongoing construction through on-site visits and review of contractor reports and test results.
• Independently inspect complex civil construction activities with technical expertise.
• Ensure contractor work complies with schedules, plans, specifications and safety regulations.
• Review QC documentation and provide input on deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Maintain tracking of deficiencies, RFIs, and daily logs; support risk management and QA reports.
