Job summary

The Senior Construction Representative supports the Old Hickory Turbine Generator Rehabilitation Project, a federally funded construction program, by performing QA, inspection, and contract compliance tasks on complex construction activities. The role requires independence in inspecting work, monitoring contractor performance, and verifying adherence to EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years of QC/QA experience on construction projects.
• USACE or federal project experience preferred.
• Experience welding, machining, or industrial construction.
• Ability to interpret construction plans and verify workmanship.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 29 CFR 1926.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ongoing construction on-site and review reports.
• Ensure work complies with schedule and plans.
• Document daily QC activities and deficiencies in RMS.
• Attend QA inspections and meetings with contractors.
• Maintain tracking for deficiencies and RFIs.
• Support risk management for critical lifts.
