Accura Engineering in Hendersonville, TN seeks a Sr. Construction Representative to provide quality assurance, inspection, and contract compliance services on a federally funded turbine rehabilitation project.

You will oversee complex construction activities, monitor contractor performance, review QC documents, and support safety reviews. The role requires extensive field inspection experience, familiarity with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA, and ability to work with USACE RMS.

Qualifications

• USACE or other Federal project experience preferred.
• 15+ years of quality control/quality assurance on construction projects.
• Experience welding, machining, or industrial construction.
• Able to interpret construction plans, specs and as-built drawings.
• Reviewing contractor daily QC reports for accuracy and deficiencies.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA Construction Regulations (29 CFR 1926).

Responsabilités

• Inspect ongoing construction through on-site visits and review of contractor reports/test results.
• Independently inspect complex civil construction activities.
• Ensure work complies with schedule, plans, specs and safety regulations.
• Verify QC requirements and maintain an audit trail of deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Provide daily QA inspection input to RMS and QA reports within 24 hours of inspections.
• Attend quality assurance reviews, meetings, and progress payments as needed.
• Prepare and sign daily reports documenting contractor progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
