Accura Engineering is seeking a Senior Construction Representative in Birmingham, AL to provide quality assurance, inspection, and contract compliance services for the Old Hickory Turbine Generator Rehabilitation Project.

The role requires extensive field inspections, documentation, and coordination with the contractor and USACE personnel. A strong background in EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations is essential, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of quality control or quality assurance experience on construction projects.
• Experience with USACE or other federal projects preferred.
• Ability to inspect complex civil construction activities and review QC documentation.

Responsabilités

• Inspect on-going construction through on-site visits and review of contractor reports.
• Independently inspect complex civil construction activities requiring technical expertise.
• Ensure contractor work complies with schedules, plans, specs, and safety regulations.
• Review QC reports to verify documentation and corrective actions.
• Maintain tracking of deficiencies and RFIs; prepare daily QA reports.
