Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Sr. Construction Representative to lead quality assurance on the Old Hickory Turbine Generator Rehabilitation Project in Tennessee.

The role demands inspecting complex civil work, ensuring contract compliance, and coordinating with USACE and contractor teams. The candidate will review daily QC documentation, monitor safety and quality programs, and prepare daily reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of quality control or quality assurance experience on construction projects.
• US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or other federal project experience preferred.
• Experience in welding, machining, and/or industrial construction.
• Interpreting construction plans, specifications, and reviewing as‑built drawings.
• Reviewing contractor daily quality control reports for accuracy and deficiencies.
• Knowledge of EM 385‑1‑1 and OSHA Construction Industry Regulations (29 CFR 1926).
• Valid Driver's License and OSHA 30 Certification.

Responsabilités

• Inspect ongoing construction through on-site visits and review contractor reports and test results.
• Independently inspect complex civil construction activities with technical rigor.
• Ensure contractor work complies with schedule, plans, specs and safety regulations.
• Review QC reports and ensure proper documentation and corrective actions.
• Attend QA meetings and document daily QA and RMS inputs.
• Verify site location, layout, and elevations before work starts.
• Maintain tracking for deficiencies, RFIs, and field problems.
• Travel for multi-day site visits as needed.
