Qualifications
- Minimum education as stated: HS diploma or GED; preferred construction management/engineering degree.
- Extensive field and contract administration experience on large federal projects.
- Experience with vertical construction and hospital projects is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of NFPA 101, NFPA 70, IPC, NFPA 13/72, ASHRAE/NEBB is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Delivers surveillance reports on construction for compliance with plans and specs.
- Provides technical input to ensure project meets codes and design instructions.
- Performs inspections and completes daily site reports with progress and safety notes.
- Monitors schedules and identifies potential delays or contract changes.
- Reviews contractor plans, submittals, and safety/quality programs for approval.
- Supports contract modification processes and environmental controls.
- Ensures coordination of commissioning, IT/communications, and equipment handling.
- Trades/inspection processes and three-phase inspection experience as applicable.
