Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction (QA) Inspector in Louisville, KY to oversee compliance with plans, specs, and safety standards on complex federal construction projects.

You will deliver surveillance reports, provide technical guidance, and review contractor submittals to ensure quality and schedule adherence. The ideal candidate has 10+ years on large construction programs, knowledge of NFPA, NEC, IPC, and EM 385-1-1, and will work on-site with a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of construction contract administration/inspection on large DoD/USACE projects.
• Experience with vertical construction; hospital projects highly preferred.
• Familiarity with life-safety, electrical, plumbing codes and related inspections.

Responsibilities

• Delivers surveillance reports on construction phases to government personnel.
• Provides technical guidance to ensure compliance with codes and specifications.
• Performs site inspections and completes daily reports with progress, safety, and manpower comments.
• Monitors schedules, identifies delays, and recommends changes or contract modifications.
• Reviews contractor plans, submittals, and environmental/safety programs; assists in modifications.
• Utilizes RMS to track progress and reporting.
