Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction QA Inspector for duties in Louisville, KY. You will review plans, monitor construction phases, and deliver surveillance reports to government personnel.

Requirements include US citizenship, a federal background/drug screen, and 10 years of construction inspection experience, preferably on large DoD/USACE projects. Hospital builds and code familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen and pass federal background review and drug screen.
• Minimum of 10 years of applicable experience on construction contract administration and inspection projects, preferably on large DoD/USACE projects.
• Experience with vertical construction projects; hospital construction experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with relevant construction codes is needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers surveillance reports on construction phases for compliance with plans and specs to government personnel.
• Provides technical expertise to clients to ensure project compliance with standards, codes, specs and design instructions.
• Performs inspections and completes daily site reports including progress, safety issues and subcontractor manpower.
• Monitors progress of construction activities and advises project team of potential delays.
• Reviews contractor plans and submittals for approval, including schedules, environmental, safety and QC programs.
• Assists in contract modification processes and evaluates need for changes.
• Uses RMS for project data and reporting.
