Job summary

Accura Engineering in Louisville, KY seeks a Senior Construction Representative to support the Old Hickory Turbine Generator Rehabilitation Project. The role involves QA, inspection, and contract compliance for a federally funded program.

You will review QC docs, attend meetings, track RMS entries, verify safety and EM 385-1-1 compliance, and ensure corrective actions. Fifteen years of field QA experience and USACE familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of quality control or quality assurance experience on construction projects.
• US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or other federal project experience preferred.
• Experience in welding, machining, and/or industrial construction.
• Interpreting construction plans, specifications, and reviewing as-built drawings.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA Construction Industry Regulations (29 CFR 1926).
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Inspect ongoing construction through on-site visits and review of contractor reports and test results.
• Independently inspect complex civil construction activities demanding specialized knowledge.
• Ensure contractor work complies with schedule, plans, safety regulations and contract documents.
• Review daily QC reports and ensure proper documentation and corrective actions.
• Maintain tracking of deficiencies, RFIs, and daily logs for QA reports.
• Attend meetings and participate in technical reviews and quality control coordination.
