Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Sr. Construction Representative to support the Old Hickory Turbine Generator Rehabilitation Project. You will perform construction quality assurance, inspections, and contract compliance, including documentation in RMS and coordination with USACE personnel.

The role requires extensive field inspection, adherence to EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations, and travel as needed. US citizen with ability to pass background checks is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 15 years of QC/QA experience on construction projects.
• USACE or federal project experience preferred.
• Experience welding, machining, or industrial construction.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 29 CFR 1926.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ongoing construction through on-site visits and review reports.
• Independently inspect complex civil construction activities.
• Ensure work aligns with schedules, plans, and safety regulations.
• Review daily QC reports and ensure proper documentation and deficiencies addressed.
• Maintain RMS daily QA input and track deficiencies with audit trail.
• Attend QA preparatory and initial inspections and report findings.
• Verify site layout, elevations, and readiness prior to work.
• Travel for multi-day site visits as needed.
