Job summary

McGrath is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Livermore, CA to oversee projects from pre-bid through completion. You will own scope, schedule, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction, guiding teams and subcontractors to deliver on time and on budget.

You’ll lead pre-bid input, pricing support, and risk mitigation while maintaining high standards of quality and regulatory compliance across public-sector and school district projects.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years construction-related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience.
• Extensive understanding of project and program management principles and methods.
• Experience supporting preconstruction activities including estimating/bidding.
• Proven ability to lead projects through inspections, closeout, and turnover.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage project P&L performance including forecasting, cost-to-complete, contingency usage, and margin protection.
• Provide direct people leadership and performance management for Project Managers and Site Superintendents.
• Oversee multiple projects and teams, ensuring alignment with regional goals and standards.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex project issues.
