Job summary

McGough is seeking a Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of assigned construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, and client relationships while mentoring junior staff and driving operational excellence.

The role emphasizes pursuit and preconstruction, self-performed work oversight, and coordination with owners, designers, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Five (5) or more years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing self-performed work scopes.

Responsibilities

• Pursuit, preconstruction and business development responsibilities and client interviews.
• Manage preconstruction planning and quality review processes.
• Lead subcontractor procurement activities and bid analyses.
• Develop CPM schedules and update project schedules.
• Oversee project documentation, RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals.
• Manage changes, cost control, and owner billings.
• Foster relationships with owners, design partners, and subcontractors.
• Support Lean construction initiatives and continuous improvement.
