Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a qualified professional to lead the successful delivery of complex construction projects. The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, adherence to schedules, and rigorous quality standards, while proactively addressing risks and optimizing outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in construction engineering, a Bachelor's in a related field, and OSHA 30 or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in construction engineering or a related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews moderately complex technical aspects of construction projects and supports safe execution.
• Coordinates with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges.
• Reviews and provides feedback on construction drawings, submittals, and change orders.
• Supports project controls, including schedule tracking and cost monitoring.
• Prepares and presents progress reports and technical documentation.
• Identifies and mitigates risks on projects through field analysis and engineering solutions.
• Mentors less experienced team members on project issues and safety/quality standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience
