Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to facilitate successful delivery of construction projects in Denver, CO. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, review drawings, manage change orders, and monitor schedule and cost to ensure quality and on-time performance.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of construction engineering experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and OSHA 30 certification (preferred; completion within 6 months of hire required).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4–6 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Reviews moderately complex technical aspects of projects ensuring adherence to design specs and quality benchmarks.
• Coordinates with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges.
• Reviews and provides feedback on drawings, submittals, and change orders for accuracy and alignment with goals.
• Supports project controls including schedule tracking and cost monitoring.
• Prepares and presents progress reports and technical documentation for stakeholders.
• Identifies and mitigates risks through field analysis and engineering solutions.
• Mentors less experienced team members on moderately complex issues and safety/quality standards.
