Qualifications

• Degree or apprenticeship in appropriate field.
• 10 years construction experience in the Chemical Process Industries or similar.
• Experience with construction safety practices and procedures.
• QA/QC theory and application knowledge.
• Mastery of construction processes, systems, tools, and application.
• Knowledge of large industrial gas operations preferred.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of project and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of care for employees, others, and the environment.
• Drive continuous improvement in Project Engineering and Execution for construction.
• Develop and staff the construction program for Capital Projects.
• Develop and improve standard practices for plant construction and due diligence.
• Support the Proposal team in defining projects and execution strategies.
• Participate in PSR4, PSR5, and PSSR processes.
• Identify gaps in construction practices and drive solutions.
• Provide construction supervision training when needed.
• Develop, implement, and oversee QA/QC processes for plants.
• Oversee individual plant construction efforts (50% of time).
• Other responsibilities as assigned
