Job summary

Messer Americas is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead capital projects, from proposal through execution, ensuring safety, scope, schedule and budget adherence. You will oversee multi-discipline teams and coordinate with procurement, operations and engineering to deliver high-impact projects for Messer.

The role demands 15 years of capital project experience in industrial gases or related sectors, a strong knowledge of codes (ASME B31.1/NEC), and a proven track record of delivering complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 15 years of capital project implementation experience in industrial gas or chemical processes.
• Proven ability to develop complex technical scope, schedule and budget and deliver to it.

Responsibilities

• Oversee proposal development and project execution for major capital projects.
• Manage all project activities through the project lifecycle and lead engineers and contract managers.
• Coordinate engineering design, schedules, budgets, and monthly status reports.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and closeout of project issues.
• Interface with multiple functions to develop and implement capital projects.
• Deliver projects safely, on time and within budget with effective change control.
