Job summary

Messer Americas is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead major capital projects. You will direct multi-discipline teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the project lifecycle.

The Principal Project Manager role requires delivering high-complexity programs, coordinating with business units, and mentoring engineers and contract staff. This position offers a challenging environment with growth opportunities within Messer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 15 years' experience delivering capital projects in industrial gas or chemical processing.
• Knowledge of codes and regulations (ASME B31.1, NEC) and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee proposal development and execution of major capital projects.
• Manage project activities across engineering, scheduling, budgeting and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate safety reviews, Hazops, and punch lists; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Interface with multiple Messer functions to define and execute PDES.
